Vintage Special is a numbered edition of twenty five original paintings and a few artist proofs. Painted on a panel cut from a recycled 200 litre steel drum that had been converted into an incinerator which had previously been used for transporting chopped tomatoes. The can has been carefully distressed.
I was a big fan of this stuff in my late teens and early twenties – when out I would often mix it with 1080 cider to make an emboldened SnakeBite, as you do. First brewed in 1950 to commemorate Sir Winston Churchill’s visit to Copenhagen.
