Thankfully I haven’t experimented with Blackout drinking for quite a few years but just recently I have been taking a look at expressing Blackout from an artistic point of view and it has taken me down a convoluted rabbit hole… The artwork shown here is one of my current favourites.
This is “Tennessee 40% Poison” oil over painted and heavily distressed leaving the soul of the bottle – the “Spirit” – clearly embossed within the word Blackout – this original artwork is 8″ by 12″ – if you want to commission a larger painting send me a message.
Whilst most of the artworks in this online gallery are painted on reclaimed floorboards or recycled steel drums I am also offering some original paintings and prints on paper.
Giclée printing on Somerset Velvet fine art paper, overpainted with oil, carefully tattered with loving distress then torn with a deckle edge ripper and set as a float mount.
